• ✷ ABOUT ✷

Olive is a jeweller based in North East London who creates bespoke pieces in recycled sterling silver and gold. Primarily self-taught, and with a background in fine art, her jewellery practice evolved through a playful exploration of unfamiliar materials and processes.

Many of Olive’s pieces start their life in wax form, carefully hand-carved or sculpted, with designs emerging intuitively through the making process. Working with traditional casting techniques (lost-wax, sand, and cuttlefish bone casting), Olive embraces the textured surfaces and unexpected outcomes that develop through experimentation with these processes.

Sustainability and ethics are central to Olive’s practice. By working with recycled metals and maintaining small-scale, studio-based production, Olive aims to create jewellery that is responsibly made and durable.

Alongside her jewellery practice, Olive runs wax carving workshops and offers private tuition from her London studio ~ click here for more information and booking.
